It was good to see everybody on Saturday.  Thanks for attending!

First a couple of announcements...

Reminder that we are moving to the first Monday of the month beginning with Saturday, May 5th.  Same location and time.

also...

Hugh may need to find a new home for his model shop.  Colpar may be booting Hugh out.  It's not cast in resin?  But he'll know in a couple of weeks.  Hugh asked if anyone knows of a low cost location where he could move his shop if necessary.  Tough in today's market but if anyone has any ideas please let Hugh know.

Another meeting with lots of interesting stuff...

I delivered a review of Revell Germany's 1/72 PT-109.  I brought my out of the box old school kit as a comparison.  I thought the feedback about the interiors was interesting.  I'm curious to see how it builds up.  You can see a complete review at this site.

Brian shared with us his 1/350 3D printed model equipment set including the Tilly.  It took a few attempts for Shapeways to get the Tilly crane section.  That's something I know several of us have struggled with at Shapeways.

John shared with us some more 3D printed 1/700 ships.  These are unique subjects that we may never see kits on.  They possess remarkable detail.  Also included were some box cars which looked very nice.

John brought his Flyhawk 1/700 HMS Hermes.  I think we were all amazed with the photo etch wing struts on the bi-planes covering the deck.  John warned us on how fragile the crane was on this kit.  She's not quite finished and I'm hoping John brings the finished version back for a visit.

The Beasley effect kicked in when Jerry brought shared with us some glue paddles he purchased from upstairs.  Here's a video of the Rockler Glue Paddles.

Jerry also brought sanding swabs which are very handy.  Another great find was the sponge sanding blocks 1000, 1500 and 2000 grit.

Something that could be very handy for washing small parts in an ultrasonic cleaner is the team infuser.

Last Jerry found some great books from AK on Metallics as well as Flesh & Skin.
