Ever alert Blake Herling told me about this kit at Hobby Lobby for $6.49.  It is the MENG models USS Lexington "Cute" ship.  One in a series produced by MENG.  While there picking up a small case for my tugs I found one as well.  It was on clearance, originally marked $25.99.  Indeed that's the full retail price of this kit but you can buy it from Freetime for $16.95 plus shipping.  If you're feeling a little on the wild side you can pick up an Artwox wood deck for it for another $14.99.    If you have some photo etch railing laying around you could also detail it even further.  Add a little rigging.  Bottom line is that these kits are well cast, fun little models.  I already had one but picked this one up for anyone in the club who would like it.  I'm offering it up to the first person who gets back to me for $7.00.
