Ship club time!
The usual details....

Meeting Location:
Rockler Woodworking (in the basement)
2553 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite 108
Denver, Colorado  80222
Date:  6/2/2018
Time:  10:00

I  should have my Easter builds ready to show off.  I can't believe I'm still working on these!  These are just like a super detailed build except goofier.

I am back to working on my 1/700 container ship, hopefully in time for the IPMS Nationals in Phoenix.  Double block to the firewall on this one.  In many ways it's a simple build.  But we can't leave it at that!  I will show you the process I went through to prepare the containers (not the kit parts)  I will have over a thousand individual containers on this ship!  We'll talk about resin casting, How to put all these containers onto the model correctly, photo etch upgrades, and the diorama I plan to put her in.  Not to mention her little resin tug boat buddies!  This photo should give you a sense of the size of this ship and model.

I believe Bill will be there to tell us about his 1/72 PT Boat 3D printed parts for the new Revell 1/72 PT Boat.  Now if he can only get his kit!  😎 I'm sure it will be here any day Bill!

I believe Jerry Beasley will have some tools to share with us as well!

As usual....
Bring your challenges and we'll try to help out out
Bring your projects and finished models to share
And don't forget your most recent contributions to your stash!

See you Saturday!
Dave
