Ship Club!!

As usual, we will meet at...

Rockler Woodworking (basement)
2553 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite 108
Denver, Colorado  80222
Date:  9/23/2017
Time:  10:00

We're heading into the peak modeling season.  I don't know about you all but I do enjoy the history.  I certainly would like this to continue but also think we should tie the subject into modeling opportunities.

To kick that off Sam is going to give us another presentation.  This time it will be on the USS Terror, a purpose built minelayer.  Sam picked up a new kit from Niko models of this ship at the convention.  I saw this one too and it looks like a great little kit and offers plenty of modeling opportunities.  Looks like it will be a big chunk of resin!

If you're into something smaller I found this one eBay.  Apparently 1/1200 lead identification model of the Hazard.  I for one am a little skeptical as the paint looks fairly new.  The same seller has a number of ships for sale on eBay.  Link to the Terror below the picture...

I'm putting together a group order for Gator Grip PVA glue before the freeze comes.  I received orders from a number of you but I'll wait until after the meeting to place an order.  Either regular or thin formula are both $5 per bottle.

I will also bring ceramic wire again.  Can't remember if everyone got theirs or not.  They are $10 per package.

As always please bring anything you've completed or in progress that you would like to share.
If you have any challenges that you need help with, bring those as well.
And if you have something new for your "collection" please bring that as well.
Or if you have something from your collection you would like to sell bring that too!

Look forward to seeing you all.
Dave
