In other scales

Pontos Models released their update set for the Trumpeter USS Texas in 1/350 scale.  It's available at Free Tim Hobbies now.  Check out their posting on Modelwarships.com which is a link for the New York but announces the Texas release with photos

Revell released their anticipated 1/72 U-Boat type IXC/40 with fast dive hull.  I first learned about this sub reading the book Shadow Divers.  Highly recommend this read by the way.  Worst box art I've ever seen but this will give you a better idea of how the boat looks...
